Beyond Method #12

WOW! Done already? I had a lot of fun taking this class. I learned so much new stuff that will definitely be helpful at the library. Probably my favorite lesson was the presentation one. I really had fun making and showing my presentation on prezi. My second favorite my a very small margin would have to have been the screen casting. I can definitely find was to put that to good use. Overall I really loved this class and found so much of it helpful. At first I was really sceptical about it and wondered what in the world it would be teaching because I like so many other people think I know everything there is to know already. I was really glad I was wrong on this one. Thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to take this class and learn some things I didn't know. I definitely look forward to any classes you offer in the future.

Beyond Method #11

I really think having these sureys linked to your website or facebook page is very benifical to the library. Usually at this library we just hand out papers asking for feedback on differant things we have going on. I think patrons would really like it if they could just fill out something online. I made a survey and I'm probably gonna put a link to it on our facebook page and our website and see how patrons respond to it. Here is a link to the survey.

Beyond Method #10

When I first started to read this lesson I thought to myself "I don't ever see myself using online conferencing", but the more I read I realized I already used this and didn't even realize it. I've done several webinars online using these tools. I really enjoyed the live interaction. All of the staff at the library I work for have also taken these webinars and they are a great tool to use. You can learn lots of valueble information without having to take away from your time or work. I really don't see patrons using this at my work, but who knows, they might be and I just don't know it.

Beyond Method #9

I decided to try out the online scrapbooking. I did enjoy doing this project but it was also very time consuming. This is a great way to save pictures and tell stories. It was fun to make the scrapbook but what took me the longest was trying to make sure I had enough pictures of each event to fill in all the spaces. I would definately recomend this to sanyone who is really into saving great memories or telling stories with pictures. My daughter just started drill team and this would be great to put all her drill pictures togather. Here is a link to my scrapbook that I designed.
