Method 12

Overall I think that web 2.0 is very informative and a great tool to use. I really liked the delicious website and think I will probaby use that the most. I enjoyed learning about all the differant tools and websites created to make surfing the web easier and more helpful. I would definately recommend this program to anyone who wants to expand their computer skills quickly and inexpensively. Thank you so much.

method 11

I really don't like podcasting. Probably the only reason I would watch podcasts would be on my cell phone. I really don't see much use for them in the library either.

Method 10

So far I think this is the hardest thing to figure out. I really don't see myself using this much.

Method 9

I chat/im with my friends fairly regularly on facebook and myspace. I like being able to have the equiv. of a phone call but on the computer. I also like the fact that with most chatting you can still do whatever you need to do and talk at the same time. I think using chat/im in the library would be a good idea to keep everyone connected without having to take them off the jobs they are allready doing.

Method 8

I enjoy using these networking sites. I like being connected with my family and friends and reconnecting with old friends.Alot of people are worried about privacy issues and such but I have not had any problems with this myself. I also think this is a great way to get information about everything going on in the library to alot of people at one time. My myspace user id is kstewart2008@myspace.com

Method 7

I really like this tool. I can't even begin to explain how annoying it is to find something in my bookmarks. This takes all the hasle out of bookmarking and goes a step further by connecting yours and other peoples bookmarks to make one easily accessible list. How great is that.

Method 6

I have used this site in the past so I am somewhat familiar with it. I mainly chose the video that I did because it was about libraries and how they are growing and changing everyday. I also think it is incredible the advances they are making to make everything easier and less stressfull.

Method 5

I save pictures all the time to myspace and facebook. I like being able to post pics and people such as my family and friends can see them no matter where they are. I think this is also a great tool to use in all libraries.

So far of all the things I've learned on here I believe I'll probably get the most use so far with the RSS. I like all the things I like to check out automatically being sent to me.

method 3

I believe the "cloud" tools and concepts are a great idea. I like the idea of being able to access docs and other things no matter where I am. I think the internet is taking us to amazing new places.

methods 1&2

I'm pretty familiar with the web but I'm interested in what this can teach me. I love to learn new things and I'm sure this will definately teach me many new things.
